Hi, I found you from WFWM but you’re going in my bloglines now. We’ve got two and are adding two siblings from Ethiopia – hopefully sometime this summer. The kids will be 8, 8, 7 & 5 so hopefully everyone can buckle on their own – well after the new ones get used to it

Thanks for this post! It is nice to have a glimpse into what its like to add two more! We will also be going from two to four. I have started thinking about some of these same things you mentioned, towels, sheets, picture frames, etc. It is hard not to get ahead of myself though…. Life will definitely be different – but we are looking foward to the change!

We go from one to three a couple times a year for varying amounts of time when the stepkids are with us and you have nailed my experience, as well. Not only is there more dirt – there’s exponentially more MESS. But more laughter and more hugs and kisses to balance it out, too.
