Ok, so I need some help from all two of you who read my blog! I have decided that before summer we are going to clean all of the junk out of the pantry; by junk I mean processed snack foods and the like. (I’ve noticed that our diet has gotten worse and worse as this busy, busy year has progressed, and summer should be the perfect time to “fix” that.) I’ve started a list of healthy snack ideas, but I’d love to hear any that you use. Here’s what I have so far:
Yogurt
Crackers & Cheese/String Cheese
Fruit/Veggies
Raisins/Yogurt Raisins/Other Dried Fruits/Fruit Leather
Pretzels (we just recently made homemade ones that are yummy!)/Popcorn
Homemade Popsicles (made from fruit and/or yogurt)
What’s next? Combinations of these things or different things entirely – any help is appreciated!

-trail mix
-granola *I have a GREAT recipe to make homemade granola that I can email you
-pickles
-smoothies
*Not really healthy but frozen cake (without frosting or use cool-whip) is a great summer time snack if you cut it into small cubes
Pineapple floats!! Ice cream and pineapple juice… can’t get much better than that! π
